I am from karnataka. There is concept and belief called as daiva in few pockets of coastal Karnataka. These performances are held across this region every now and then. I personally have been an audience to it twice. I can actually feel the vibration even though I am not vivid believer but I loved the concept and storyline of this movie. Its awesome. Simple message is "save forests"..

If you have noticed 2 words in the song Varaha Roopam I.e. Daiva(God)-7:28 and Danta(teeth)- 7:43. You will find interesting that these 2 words exactly cognates with European languages like Latin: "Deus" (god), Dentes(teeth) and Lithuanian(Baltic European language): Dievas(God) and Dantų(teeth).

These Daiva and Danta are Sanskrit words.
