[FIX] 3 point lift only goes up on Yanmar YM1700

My rear 3 point lift would go up as soon as I started the tractor and not go down until I shut it off no matter what direction I had the 3 point control lever in. Turns out one of the interior flow control valves was jammed in the wide open position

Finally got my first tractor a 1970 yanmer 1700. Having this same problem among others. Got my actuator off and wondering if I need a gasket under it when I clean it out

What is the small lever on the left side for(orange)?

Did it work ? Im having issues where my hitch goes up and down but wont stay perfectly in position. It will drop a little then return to the position.
