As much as I love Portal 2's aesthetic, there's just something really special and unique about Portal's original look. It's so creepy and lifeless, yet it works and made the first game feel so much more isolating. I wish Valve would return to it in some capacity, because the dead-eyed look the cores have makes it feel so alien and deaf. This mod, while rough, gives Portal 2 the general eeriness it was missing. Thanks for uploading this.

But tbh, it's quite funny to have GLaDOS and the Intelligence Core itself mistaking it as Intelligence Dampening Core (Wheatley), a whole opposite core XD. Poor lil guy
