Hanover County getting ready for presidential primaries

The 2024 presidential election is not until Nov. 5, but next week's primaries will allow some citizens to vote for who they would like to see on that ballot.

On Super Tuesday, voters will be able to vote in either the Democratic or Republican primary in Virginia and 15 other states. As Virginia does not have political party registration, Virginians will have to choose which primary they want to vote in.

While President Joe Biden is running virtually unopposed, Donald Trump and Nikki Haley are still fighting closely for the Republican nomination.
