I read on Twitter someone’s theory (creds to heyhaechan) about the animals in this video!! Taeyong‘s is a bird/parrot which symbolises he was a victim of gossip, Mark’s animals is a lizard symbolising his strong capability, Doyoung’s is the fish which symbolises detachment and Lucas’ is a butterfly which symbolises seeing yourself transform, I found it really interesting and accurate!!

Originally this song is only Taeyong and Doyoung.. and Taeyong wrote all lyrics of the song based on his real past experiences. Pls read the English translation. It was amazing. But then SM decided to put this song into Empathy album.. and added more members Mark (who then wrote his own lines) and Lucas..
