I love that vintage costume jewelry. This person also made jewelry too, as well as sewed. You need an older person who knows their antiques go through that stuff with you. I used to work part time at an auction house that owned storage units. They had household box auctions every Thursday. I was one of the people who would go through the stuff and pull out the antiques or valuables to be sold at the antique auction at the end of the month. We also would do estates for people whose kids didn't want to go through all their kids stuff. I specialize I jewelry, vintage glassware, kitchenware, quilts, etc. I have friends that do vintage guns, fishing lures, sporting equipment. Things that are mass produced have short lifespan values. A lot of those items in older units like this are no longer made. If your looking for just quick cash at way below value....then move it along. But for bigger value and return, get someone who knows about vintage items to work with you to pull those items...research them...And list them properly for sale. I see a lot of value that you are looking over because it doesn't interest you.

Coins and stamps can be incredibly valuable. The same thing with old, costume jewelry. Monet & Tiffany both made really nice costume jewelry in the 18 & 1900s and the pieces are still sought after. If you look inside the clasp, you may find the maker's mark.
The "weird material" purses look to be eel skin. I have 2 that belonged to my great aunt.
The really small, metal boxes are pill and jewelry boxes. There may be a maker's mark on the bottom.
The #35 Washington Redskins is most likely Doug Willimas, the first black quarterback to start and win the Superbowl. And that looked like a signature - that's an awesome find if that's what it is.

The old wallets and purses with the “weird “ texture are worth good money.. Spend some time researching the items from this unit, I think you’ could overlook a lot of potential value. Great job on this score! Happy for you.

wow, wow, wow on this storage. Jebus and Amber, please have the stamp collection appraised. It might bring in more money if you sale that to a dealer or something. please do not sale this in auction without having it checked out by a professional. I think ya'll hit the jackpot on this storage.

I love the way you refer to semiprecious stones as jewelry rocks!

When I first meet my husband we spent hours going through his stamp and coin collection. He had been collecting since he was a kid. Our youngest son now has the collection and it is so special. Jeebus your honest intrest in the historical value is so great to see. Wishing you many happy finds. Stay COOL 😎💘🙃

First day covers. I used to collect them. You send a self addressed envelope to the Postmaster General or money for the stamps with the name of the stamp and they send your envelope back with the stamp and a special commemorative rubber stamp or the special envelope stamped. Those will be worth something

A lot of collector items in stamps, jewelry making, dressmaking supplies, etc. To the right person you have special treasures and items worth hanging on to for historic value to someone else. Interesting programme. Thank you.

That stamp collection is massive. I had a stamp collection that started by my great-grandfather and every generation added to it - including me. Along with my coin collection, it was stolen. This is the first time I've
ever spoke of it since I found out. You may have hit the jackpot with this unit - 🤑
🎊 congrats 🎉

Those stamp collections are awesome. Hope you make a ton of money off of those. A couple of those look like they may have been purchased at high end auctions. Make sure you have someone who knows about stamps give you an appraisal.

The rocks could be from a place they visited. I love looking at all that old stuff. Reminds me of my grandparents. That what they used to make fancy purses back in the day! I love that stick pin that has the Egyptian guy on it. I really enjoy when you guys find someone me great units! You deserve it! The clothes shaver s used to get those like fuzz balls off your clothes! That black rock looks like a lava rock. I think stamp books just tells what the stamps mean maybe. Just a guess! All those stamps are amazing! They tol good care and of them!

Yes to selling the sewing lot. Last year in the early spring, I was making tons of masks and couldn't get a hold of thread, fabric and elastic. People collect vintage sewing items too.

The green kit in the first sewing box is a button hole maker not a sewing machine.
