Start with Java or C# or another statick tipped language to get a better understanding of types. Python is easy to do stuff yes but honestly you will learn more by using one of the above languages first

Fun Fact: The reason python is so compact isn't for human readability. It's for cheaper AI tokenization.

It just happens to create compact code for humans also.
