Indonesia, US hold largest ever joint military drills

Indonesia and the US are holding their largest ever joint military exercises, with more than 5,000 personnel taking part.
This year’s drills include additional participants, including Japan, and more than a dozen observing countries – and come at a time of heightened tension in the region.

Gen. Andika Perkasa is current the Commander of Indonesian Army. IMO, he is one of the best Indonesian Army's General. Although he's from high level bloodline of Indonesian Army, he is one of the best at tactical, commanding skill, good personality and good communication. (His father in law is Gen.(Ret).AM Hendropriyono, the elder of Indonesian Intellegence Unit)

General Andika (from Indonesia) has my RESPECT. When the same question is asked to pilipines .. they talk as if US of a has any obligation to help (and never fulfilled any duty after getting so much resources from PH). Instead, this is very smart and diplomatic by the Indonesians to be smart and neutral, don't make enemies and always make good relation, now they get help, friend and benefit of Trade from both China and usa. (People who don't even bother watching, Indonesia was selected by USA to be the main training host for this exercise, no more PH.) This is why its important to be smart, always make friends. After so many years PH give so much respect to the USA and followed every instruction from their master. look what is going to happen to them today.

It's well known American armies are joining Indonesian Army to exercise together annually as their American weather and climate aren't challenging enough to shape mental strength.
