I used lifter additive on GMC Sierra 2014 L86 Engine which had bit of lifter ticks and it really worked and reduced tick, made engine smooth & quiet. In general im happy with it. so far Ok (after month of use)

I tried the Forte at the last oil change and it had no effect. This time I tried Wynns, and the tick vanished within 30 seconds. This is on a 88k Volvo V50 1.6D, I was thinking that I would either have to have new lifters or sell the car, but I now have a lovely quiet, smooth engine again. I am assuming that the oilways have now been desludged, so I will just try clean oil at the next change and see if it comes back.

I added the mos2 to my engine. Can I add this as well or should I do a oil change again?

Hey Liqui Moly. I have a 2010 Volvo V70 2.5FT. It has a slight tick in the valves. My garage says it has mechanical lifters in stead of hydraulic. What product do you think is right for my car?

I flushed my engine with engineflush LM, and started knocking, I think it is a stuck lifter... that is not good

I have a question:can I used it in my (very loud) diesel generator(with sae 20w 40 heavy duty)?with or without oil additive?
