I love his set-up! I also skate Thunder 147s or Indy 139s on a big board. I tried the149s and I cant do it either. If it feels comfortable, use it!

if you pause at 0:18 it looks normal but then you look at where the part that the wheel is actually rolling ends in comparison to how much space left there is to fill on the board and its a lot.

I ride an 8.25 with independent 139 hollows but I have ton of washers on the axle to try space out the wheels as much as I can and it works pretty good for now until I can save up enough money to buy some 149s

I even tried skating Ace 03's (139 Lows) on an 8.375 and it felt too awkward! Got myself some 44's!

good to know i was wondering if i sized up, if i had to with my trucks accordingly now i can keep my 139s on my 8.25 or 8.38. I also saw that EE did this too but a 2nd opinion is always needed
