Luckily in modern day both are pretty affordable. I got a backwards compatible wii with all the accessories and a couple games last year for 40 bucks

This couldn’t have been in 2008, unless it was specified backwards-compatible PS3, all of which were produced in limited quantities in 2006. However due to it being so hard to even find a Wii back in release day, it sort of makes sense that a year and a half or so later there was a Wii available in that game store.
