As a classical guitar player, I can just tell you that classical guitar strings feel so soft you could sleep on them

It happened to me once in the middle of a solo haha, so I ended the solo with an improvised tapping lick and it went smoothly

I have never used a pick to play guitar, I just found it strange to hold, so I taught myself to play without one. To start with my guitar would be covered in blood by the time I finished a song, but my fingertips have gotten harder and don't start to bleed as easily.

I only ever play acoustic these days and holding a pick just locks my hand out of so much of the percussion of the instrument. it's been years now, and no cap i've forgotten how to use a pick.
