At this point, we've pumped way over 6 trillion into the economy. Given that the situation is, let's say, unprecedented, we can assume that all of this spending will at best help out for some six months. If that.
So, we have...

...over $ 6, 000, 000, 000, 000.- that were pumped into the economy. Man, that's a lot of zeros in that number.
There are 328, 200, 000 people in the US, roughly.
So, then $ 18, 282.- could have been paid out to every American, including every single child and over-100-year-old.
Let's say we only gave $ 15, 000.- to every citizen instead. Still a nice chunk of money. A family with 2 children would get $ 60, 000.-
Then there'd be a remaining $ 1, 077, 000, 000, 000.- left to pay out to small business and corporations to pay them to either run idle if they can, and to support all those businesses that can't.

I think that would have helped a lot of citizens and businesses of these United States a lot more to get over the next 6 months. Especially, as we all know and love our friends in Washington, I guarantee you, by the time six months from now are up (so, we're talking mid-November), those geniuses will have spent another 6 trillion.
