When I was in first grade, I had a Hawaiian teacher Mrs Schwartz, she had us perform this song (and others), the class had wear hula outfits, its a core memory for me, the winters were very snowy in washington state where I grew up, Christmas time was always the best.

Working in retail, I get the "pleasure" of hearing Christmas music for 30 days straight starting Black Friday.
