I have heard a dozen versions of this over my lifetime. They usually have mandolin or guitar as principal instrument you hear, never a piano. Karliene's version redefines the standards for this song. The voice is so beautiful, yet plaintive at the same time, and the piano adds to the feeling of peace. It's almost a different (and certainly better) song the way she sings it.
