Amcrest 1080p webcam setup and review

Shown in this review is the Amcrest AWC201-B plug and play USB model of the webcam.

I go over how to setup the webcam on my computer and test the 1080P video quality of the 1/3" Sony CMOS sensor and field of view as well as review how effective the microphone picks up your voice and other audio by doing a side-by-side comparison with a Canon DSLR and audio-technica microphone.

The video quality of the webcam should be acceptable when telecommuting or talking to friends on Skype, Gmail, Messenger, Hangouts, Zoom, and so on, but you may find you need to use a better microphone.

Solid camera. A love how you can put it on a tripod or have it sit on your monitor. In this day and age of Zoom meetings all the time it works very well.

Just ordered it! I'm gonna be trying to stream using that for not since c920s are impossible to find for a respectable price! Gonna combine it with a fifine k669b. That combo should be good to start off, right? Great video!!

Glad I saw this before money was invested. Saw an ad for it on Facebook to test it free of charge (meaning you buy it and they reimburse you the money), but if it looks and sounds like that, then all they need to do is check YouTube for reviews on their product. Yea, that's gonna be a no for me, dawg.

Wish I had listened to this before I bough it - luckily I got it from Amazon - I agree 100% with what you said - The Video is OK, but the mic is terrible and because of that I'll be sending it back - I wish it would have worked -

I’m so bummed. I really wish I had watched this video before I purchased. It’s no good for telecon meetings really. People can’t hear me very well. Any suggestions for a good pair of earbuds as a work around?
