Can’t believe I saw them in Milwaukee 3 days after this and arrived too late to see Mirador. I chose not to go too early because I really didn’t care to see Geese, but had no idea Jake and Chris would be performing before them. My loss! 😢

The melody at 5:40 sounds like the melody in at wit’s end from pirate of the Caribbean 3. But the song is very good I hope they release an album soon !

I saw GVF with Ida Mae in Madison a few years ago. For the encore, Jake sang with Josh, Chris and Stephanie. He looked terrified, but I could tell he could sing, albeit different than Josh. I just always figured he was too shy to sing on his own. ALL the boys in GVF can sing and I would've loved to hear a 4-part a cappella piece from them, but seriously doubt that will ever happen. Can't say I'm a fan of Chris's voice all that much, but Jake's voice tempers it nicely. They seem to be very simpatico and I look forward to hearing more from this band.
