It's probably about time you meet our friends Pedal Empire. If you live in Australia or New Zealand, these are your people. They handle all shipping, repairs and returns of our pedals in your corner of the world.

What's nice about Pedal Empire is that they are also a great store. Located in Brisbane, you can pop in any time and mess around with our pedals and buy them on-site.

*** What's this all about? ***
After we went direct, it became obvious pretty quickly that Australia and New Zealand were the areas being impacted the most, so we had to figure something out. We've been working with Pedal Empire for a good while now, and we decided to partner up and make it happen. And I think this video will help explain why. It's a good bunch of people.

*** What is Bliss + Mortar? ***
Now that we sell direct, you can't try our pedals in stores. We decided to hold on to a few
physical locations around the world where you can try (and buy) our pedals in person – stores and gear communities that we feel connected to in an authentic and special way.

I came to the Sydney pedal party. 3 weeks in Australia and I noticed Joel already had the beginnings of a cool mullet and his sideburns were buzz cut. You bloody legend!

Great shop, great pedals, quite pricey but I've bought heaps of stuff there that wasn't otherwise available retail in Australia. Glad to see a nice family behind the business and learn about the hard working building up the brand. Well done, will be visiting next time in Brisbane.

What a delight, Joel! There are so many brands in that part of the world, many from Japan and other East Asian countries, that simply never make it to North America or Europe. I'm sure you stumbled onto stuff you had never seen before.

I bought my very first pedalboard from Pedal Empire in 2013 after I had moved to Brisbane for University. I had no idea what I was doing, and the guys there were so helpful and knowledgeable. Since then, that pedalboard helped me build a career, travel the country, record albums and have experiences I never would’ve had otherwise.

I remember going to a clinic Juan Alderete ran there, and was amazed. I was even lucky enough to win a Dispatch Master just by going, which I still have.

I’ve changed careers twice since then, but always played music with a tonne of pedals, and 9 times out of ten, if I can get something from Pedal Empire, I will. That place is special.
