when it comes to the 80s the Italian team was utterly packed with defensive legends that 1982 team alone had baresi, cabrini, collovati, bergomi, vierchowod, gentile and scirea come on that is probably one of the best defences of all time.

Ramos is by far the best defender of the 2010s and is easily one of the top 5 defenders of all time whether you like it or not. Apart from Beckenbauer there has never been a defender so good on all lines of the pitch with such a colossal impact as Ramos in the biggest games he carried his team like no other defender and has an unbeatable record for a defender. I think Ramos doesn't get the recognition he deserves you can hate him no problem but don't deny he's one of the best players football has ever known.
