my 2025 makeup trend predictions!!

These are my makeup trend predictions I think we will be seeing in 2025.

First, satin makeup is making a strong comeback. The ultra-matte and high-shine dewy looks are taking a backseat as a soft, natural-looking satin finish becomes the go-to. This in-between texture gives skin a healthy glow without looking overly glossy or flat.

Blonzer—a hybrid of bronzer and blush—will continue to rise in popularity. This warm, sun-kissed flush applied higher on the cheeks creates a lifted effect, giving the face a naturally sculpted appearance without the need for heavy contouring.

Thin brows are making a return, but with a modern twist. Unlike the over-plucked brows of the early 2000s, the 2025 version is more refined, softly arched, and still full enough to frame the face beautifully.

Monochromatic makeup will be everywhere, with people using the same shade for blush, eyeshadow, and lipstick. This trend is all about simplicity and cohesion, creating a seamless, polished look with minimal effort.

Finally, the way we contour is evolving. Instead of harsh, structured lines, the trend is shifting toward a softer, more blended approach, with contour being placed slightly higher on the face to lift and enhance natural bone structure.
