Jan Smigmator: Klobouk ve křoví @ Czech Centennial Celebrations Chicago 2018

Czech swing singer Jan Smigmator performed in Chicago on the occasion of the centennial of the founding of Czechoslovakia. The concert titled "Czech Swings in the Chicago Clouds" took place on November 3 at the MidAmerica Club on the top of the AON Building. Jan Smigmator was joined by two Czechs: Vladimír Strnad (piano) and Jan Greifoner (double bass), an American: Eric Schneider (saxophone) and a Czech-American Joseph Adamik (drums). The repertoire featured US jazz standards as well as the greatest Czech hits of the same era, including Klobouk ve křoví written by Jaroslav Ježek, Jan Werich, Jiří Voskovec.
