What are polygons? (Simple Maths Tutorial)

This is a simple maths tutorial reviewing the material found in these three written tutorials:

Polygons are basically any shape that is made up entirely of straight lines. There are two basic ways of classifying them:
1. By the number of sides they have
2. By the length of their sides.

The first method you're probably very familiar with already. For example, all three sided polygons are called triangles. All five sided polygons are called pentagons.

The second method you may not be as familiar with. All polygons with sides of identical lengths can be called regular polygons. And all polygons with sides that are of different length (even if it's just one that's different) are called irregular polygons.
