I also saw the video of neeves knife who talks about the location of the closing stop pin but I think he is wrong about this fact. Yes he has a closing stop pin on this bestechman (and I don't know why because the axis don't need it). If you look at all the axis lock styles, in general there is no stop pin to prevent excessive closing because the closing stop pin is the axis bar itself, the blade hits in the closed position on the axis lock bar. Look at a disassembly of benchmade bugout for example there is no stop pin, it is the axis bar that stops excessive closing

I like the unpainted with the light purple, it pretty

I just saw a video that pointed out the stop pin placement for the closed position that falls just behind the cutting edge, which prohibits anything but one or two sharpenings.

Love this one. The red andwhite is really striking

I love these Cicada's Wings in hand. I picked up one in the ultem and one in the G10. The ultem scales have just a hint of milling and there's a little tack on the surface for good grip. The G10 is the hard variant that is milled very nice. Both super light. Both super sharp. Lock is secure and movement is smooth.

Another reviewer had an issue with the stop pin. These are budget knives, so how many of us are going to be sharpening them for the stop pin design to really matter? If the stop pin alignment is an issue for other knives, older knives should have been called out first, instead of raising it as an issue just before the knifemaker's rollout of an otherwise excellent knife, regarding a flaw most of us will not notice. Really, Bestechman put in an excellent effort here and I am happy to have the two Cicada's Wings in my collection. Bad form on the part of the other knife reviewer. Beez did it right, pointing out good and bad without screaming the barn's on fire.

Love it when you whip it out 😅 also love the red and black combo

I like this knife. I would choose the purple with black blade, or the gold blade and ultem. Yeah the gold and and ultem would be the choice. I think the gold and ultem looks like the cicada shells they hatch out of . Thanks for sharing. I'm definitely grabbing one of these. Bestech should have sent you the black scale with red blade. The Beez blades colors😊 Have a good weekend. .🤔

Haven't gotten into these colorful blades yet. I might have to do it sometime just for the collection purposes. I do know it is very popular with some. I love the range of different likes and dislikes in this community.

After seeing several reviews I think they were close to having something special in the budget blade market. With the flaws pointed out though I don't think it's worth what they are charging and it is overpriced for what you are getting long term. Smart marketing with the flashy colors but hopefully they'll rework this thing.

I think the OD green and gold is the best looking version

Both the Red and White and Red and Black are good looking.

It's a nice knife, but I prefer the green handle one with that goldish blade. Thanks for showing. 🐝🌞👈

Interesting. The only version I would consider is the black out murdered out version.
