A few years ago I had purchased a HCT 500/1 Violin bass, but returned it because of a couple of nicks and the color was awful (IMO). Almost black and yellow sunburst. I have a video for that, if you want to see it.

I got this one and I am truly happy with it... Looks great, and sounds great.

I had mine since the start of the year. Played through an AC30 and the sound it produces is deep and bouncy. I hope you have a great time with the bass. Congrats on the piece.
