After 14 yrs of not reading anything completely, I just finished 11/22/63 & Carrie. I have been watching tons of YouTube videos on SK: rankings, tiers, etc. Thanks for all the time you put into this. The information is awesome and I appreciate it. Thanks!

CR here...I once wrote SK, (after his accident, and around a time he was slowing in writing scary and more about personal and politics) "Fun is fun, but done is not done. Don't turn out the lights, just yet, on scary beautiful." I understand covid as a topic, a plague, but also, maybe, about the scary and weird joy for those that liked everyone in cabin mentality. What about those that thrived, and loved it? I can't, I am not a storyteller, I don't have the mind to take that somewhere scary and surreal and amazing. He does. Spin covid 180°; I can't imagine (which is why I am a CR) what that would look like...but it would be canon, and only SK could do it right/write.

He should have saved about 20 of his books, being released each year after he dies, like Frank Zappa albums. I like the idea of King releasing books beyond the grave.

This sounds amazing! I can't wait. Thanks Dave! Next year should be epic. I read Carrie in 1975. I was 12. An original Constant Reader.

Six to nine minutes in: you like it brighter? Jokes aside, very excited for this collection. Hope to be finished with going through his body of work in time for May 21st. Especially intrigued by The Dreamers as I believe that’s the one he’s dedicating to the memory of Cormac McCarthy. (Curious to see what impact that has on the story.) Love your work, Dave! Keep it up!

I can't wait, I love a short story especially after the last 2 disappointing books. And when did JJ Abrahams start directing your videos!

Very excited for Rattlesnakes, but the whole collection sounds like classic kingian horror.
Thanks for the update!

May is right before my birthday, so happy birthday to me lol. I haven’t read or really heard of any of these stories so I am excited. I like the American cover better. The big alligator is intriguing to me.

The fact that it’s called you like it darker, shows that this will be pure king terror

I almost always like UK covers better than the ones here in the US. But, in this case, I think I like the US cover better.
