SpaceX Boca Chica - High Bay Assembly Continues - SN5 Prepped for Static Fire

Bluezilla continues to assemble Super Heavy's new High Bay at the production site. Meanwhile, SN5 is getting its final preps before the first static fire test with Raptor SN27.

I so love these images of the fantastic progress going on in Boca Chica. In many industries and countries activities such as these would not be visible. So I thank you YouTube, thankyou video guys for these posts, thankyou SpaceX and thankyou USA. One really trivial thing that I love to see is that white sandwich bag snagged on the wire fence being blown by the wind. One day it will be gone from these views I shall miss it.

Everytime I tune into NSF I’m constantly amazed at the rapid progression, I’ve never witnessed anything quite like it where the factory and the product are being built at exactly the same time. Imagine say Apple trying to prototype and build iPhones and the factory all at the same time. How any of this gets programmed, scheduled and implemented is a huge task which cannot be underestimated. Just the construction works alone are a huge task, throw into the mix prototyping and building reusable space ships and building a production line for spaceship building is mind numbingly difficult.
I work in the construction industry and have programmed/scheduled a work site and I can tell you even with simple jobs it can be insanely difficult to get me, materials and machinery all turning up at the right time in the right location to do the right job. We all know how difficult it is just to get a plumber to turn on on the right day now imagine that times 1, 000, all whilst your building a product and a production line. This is absolutely insane.

at 11:23, they have installed the roof beams and put Q decking (the corrugated steel decking on the beams) on top and are tying a rebar mat. they are also forming in the sides. They should pour a slab for the roof once the forming and rebar is complete.

Hmmm... 5:20 - SN5 & SN6 spend quite a few nights alone together in the high bay and then a few weeks later a mysterious baby Starship appears. I think we can all join the dots here. Finally Elon Musk's cunning plan for ramping up Starship production is revealed.

Y'all might not realize it, but to get that photo at the start of the video, you have to slog through acres of marshy-bottomed coastal salt grass and BILLIONS of mosquitos all the while enduring temperatures if 90 plus and water temps of 85 plus. The threat of water borne pathogens is very real in the swampy water as is sinking in almost bottomless mud. Thank you NSF for getting these shots.
