If not why don't we buy around 200 Arjun mk1A tanks as a replacement for T72 tanks in the Rajasthan region since it was made for that purpose

Good news, let’s hope we focus on getting platform and core requirements right first, then integration of rest of the features are developed and user testing almost in parallel ( Agile-Continuous development), so we don’t get any surprises later on. Also, based on our previous experience with L1 process, a more comprehensive selection criteria, that assures quality and addresses the risks of non-delivery and price escalation disputes later.
