A small critique on Constructivism in the context of IR Theory--you seem to be describing Constructivism in contrast to Classical Realism.

But honestly, Classical Realism is outdated, even among realist theorists--and the most well known foundational works on Constructivist IR were written in response to _Theory of International Politics_ which broke Realism away from the Classical theory.

(Granted of course that Wendt did not invent Constructivism and that this school of IR theory actually predates Neorealism.)
