We have our first deck profile of 2020! After the banlist hits, it seems like control decks are rising to the top. Subterror Guru is one of my favorites after True Dracos got hit! Your deck theory is ok. I would question playing archer at all but you dont seem to have extravagence budget. I dont either and I'm playing 3 duality and 1 archer. Dont play cave clash it's a big brick and most games wont last that long. (mainly because once you've destroyed ur opponent deck you'll kill them quickly) loved the profile tho and some interesting ideas, I'll defo consider them. Also demise isn't good as it discards fiendess.

Archer doesn't banish, she shuffles a set monster back into the deck. Only if you control another face-up subterror monster

if you could manage avramax in here that would be nuts but you dont really focus on extra deck monsters. maybe if you dropped the vanitys fiend and like the card of demise for like 2 extenders you could manage a way to make a monster most people cant get over. But to be fair Vanitys is pretty hard to get over if it does get summoned. I had fun playing against this deck last saturday

I like your style and I have a couple cards you might want to think about
There's summon limit and ice dragons prison for decent trap cards to look at and then dinowrestler pankratops works well in guru control too. I personally keep 3 copies of shared ride in my side deck but don't get the chance to use them very often. I also have one copy of mystic mine.

This seems like a very powerful go first deck, but what do you do when you have to go second?

You cannot activate 2 subterror final battles to target 2 monsters to increase their attacks. Only one will resolve as its a once per turn.

s'aight. you should play online if you don't already. you'd get a good understanding of where that decks needs support and where it shines.
