Guild Westerly Collection F-2512E Maple Acoustic Guitar Demo

The F-2512E Maple combines two of Guild’s most iconic specialties: twelve string and jumbo guitars. With their large, rounded bodies, jumbo acoustic guitars have been Guild’s forte since 1954; combining this shape with the ever-popular 12-string construction results in a full-toned, impressively voiced acoustic instrument. Built with a solid spruce top, maple sides, and arched maple back, the F-2512E Maple has the bright, jangly tone characteristic of Guild’s twelve string guitars. Guild’s signature arched back design allows for great volume and projection, long sustain, and a lush, full sound. The F-2512E Maple features Guild’s AP-1 pickup, an Indian rosewood fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, pearloid rosette, period-correct tortoiseshell pickguard, and a matte polyurethane finish. This model also includes Guild’s new lightweight deluxe gig bag. Available in Natural.

I bought this guitar, have had it for about a month and I absolutely love it. Big, room-filling, jangly sound. Easy to play, the neck is amazing. You cannot go wrong for the money. This plays like a fifteen hundred dollar guitar.

I’ve had mine since the summer, I absolutely love it and it’s all the 12 string that I’ll ever need. I play down tuned and it’s perfect for the pre war country blues stuff. Comes with a nice case too!

I have a 1979 Guild F212XL NT (Mahogany, RI built). I've had it since the early 80's. Stunning chime with power. Guild makes the best 12's. I use a K&K Pure Mini with a Zoom A3 preamp. Just wow!

I have one. Amazing guitar. Why are people complaining about the pickup sound from a youtube video? Everything sounds like crap on youtube. It's a great pickup, great guitar, get one, you'll love it. You'll never find a better 12 string at this price.

I bought my 2512 in 2016. Great sound but I’ve recently found the soundboard cracking. I checked with Guild about their lifetime guarantee but they declined to respect claiming the damage is from dryness. They may be right but my other acoustics albeit more expensive aren’t cracking. I even have another Guild without the issue. I recommend keeping the guitar in a case and well humidified.

I have a D-4 nt 12 with a fishman blender, and a Jf-30 12 with solid maple sides and back with no electronics.
Both full bodies, and US made for $ 650 each!
Then I bought this Guild at a pawn shop for less than half, $290 out the door, in excellent condition.(gig bag only 😂)
It sounded just as good or better than the others!
And the action was as good as my Taylor 12's!
They turned off the store music to listen to it chime 👍
I highly recommend it for outdoors, or travel, but with a hard case of course.
