I have over 150 hours into Field of Glory Kingdoms as the Byzantine Empire, and I have survived. Barely. Numerous civil wars, rebellions, and coups prove that even on the easiest levels this is indeed a challenging game. At least for the Eastern Romans that is. I have found it very entertaining and challenging. Thanks for your reviews!

Thank you Andy. Not sure it's the right niche but if anyone's very much into Medieval warfare (battle tactics, military units, armies organization, arms and armor, etc.) by a Ph.D. and a former TW modder I strongly recommend Schwerpunkt's videos series. They make the best historical introduction to TW titles and/or Manor Lords, Medieval Dynasty, etc. Keep up with the great work

Of all of them the Crusader Kings series II and III, along with Total War: Attila are the most flexible where it involves picking other cultures beyond the regular games cultures such as the English, French, Germans, Byzantines to play. Immortal Sovereigns II seems like a fun play through. Have Field of Glory Medieval now need Field of Glory Kingdoms.

I have all of the games except for Field of Glory: Kingdoms. I love all of them especially the mods. I think some of the games are too Eurocentric and too focused on the Muslims in North Africa. I love games that let me play as Africans, Asians and Indigenous Americans. The scope of warfare is so much bigger than what is presented in games. I love nothing better than to dominate the map as Zagwe (ancestors to Kush/Nubia) in the 1212 Mod for Total War Atilla. Like everyone else here I want at least a Total War: Medieval II Remastered as the graphics in Med II are just a tad too old for most tastes right now. Great selection Andy.

Thanks Andy! I would love to play the 1212 AD Attila Mod but when I play in 4k the interface and writing is so small and playing in 2k or 1080p looks too blurry. Does anyone have any insight or a fix for the interface/UI size or the ideal way to play it?
