My first time trying these vegan artichoke burgers (or any artichoke burgers, for that matter). I try all 3 varieties: original recipe, french herb, and tandoori spice.

They look so appealing on the packaging. I share your frustration.

Their artichoke burger has been around a few years. They changed the packaging and added 2 movies flavors. I cook mine until they're a little crispy. The artichoke ones are yummy. Haven't tried the other 2 yet.

My local Kroger just started carrying these and I picked up the French herb one. Was delicious cooked on the bar-b-que grill.

Raw honesty! Something you don't see in YouTube everyday

I actually really like the tandoori artichoke burgers, but I also didn't have the problem with them being soft and falling apart. I typically eat them without a bun with veggies

Disappointed and shocked you didn't like these!! I picked up the original last week and just had one over the weekend and I loved it! It was also recommended by a meat eater at my local whole foods market. I give you it doesn't taste like a beef patty or anything but that's not what I look for in a veggie burger. Also, I heated mine in a cast iron skillet and it was no where near "falling apart". I'm so surprised at this video. I can't wait to try the other kinds.

I'm from the UK so almost none of your taste tests are relevant for me but I still enjoy watching these haha :)

😂😂😂 OMG that ending "I think the people who make these are trying to destroy veganism from the inside"

how did she not know they had artichoke in them when it's clear as day on the front of the freaking package?

You should try Sunshine burgers. They're soft like those, but incredibly flavorful. I prefer the garden burgers, made with brown rice, sunflower seeds, carrots, and spices, but it's all ground up so the texture is consistent.

I like how you've started to edit out the "eating sounds"
A lot of taste testers do not do that.
I can't say that I am particularly fond of eating sounds in taste test

But yeah! Great job on your taste test videos! I love them so much.

I appreciate the taste tests. Since you seem to like the same things I like and dislike what I dislike, I rely on your taste tests to save me money and disappointment. Keep up the good work and keep being a rational and intelligent commentator, no matter what silly stuff people say.

I love these videos. Love the Umbreon poster in the back too, I have one as well. But I'm from Europe and we have like...three brands of these burgers. I'm no vegan, trying to be vegetarian but damn people make it really hard to be so.

I think the texture looks really good. I like these less firm patties actually lots of veggie patties that you can eat here in Germany are like that.

Hahaha at the little rant at the end. That's how I feel about the new Daiya mozza shreds recipe (how on Earth did that make it to store shelves?!).

It's very common for vegan crab cake recipes, tuna salad recipes, etc. to use artichokes; they have that perfect flakey texture. You'd think a burger recipe using that ingredient would capitalize on that (crab cake burgers? Idk...).

Personally, I think these sound yummy - despite your review, just going off the ingredients, product package, etc. - but I doubt I can find them where I live. :(

I'm not sure that protein = hearty; however, thanks for the review. They don't sound good.

I had a really good black bean burger once. It didn't taste like meat (it tasted like beans), but it tasted really good.

I recently tried the Subway black bean patty hoping it would be good, but was disappointed. It was much more expensive than the meat/cheese sandwiches and it wasn't very tasty.
