I could feel this video 😬 It's been 25 years since I was on stage and I still have the scares. No regrets ❤

How much ballerinas endure for the love of their art is incredible.

I could never... I have very sweaty and tender feet so this is how my feet look after a regular pair of heels. Actually, it's even worse. Mad respect for women who can endure this, because I'd faint on the second step❤

The tape can be causing that if it gets too sweaty.
I used to put some cotton inside the silicone point protectors only.
To avoid certain wounds you probably need to try finger sleeves made of thick fabric, and put clothe or cotton instead of tape.

Last year during Nutcracker I was ballerina dall, snow, marzipan and dew drop and literally it wasn't until I got to the dressing room after each show to take my pointe shoes off that my feet would hurt. They were so numb from dancing in the shoes for so long.

That’s crazy how the top of the toe is flat

Looks like there’s a lot of pressure on your big toe knuckles and then on the pinky toe too. Have you tried a little bit wider box? A wider box with a deeper vamp might help relieve some of the pressure and squeeze on the first and last toe joints. Bunions are just going to happen, but changing your box width just a little bit might help slow that process down.

When I was a kid, I tried ballet and it hurt so I always thought people who do ballet must be strong on their feet. And I'm not wrong, I have respect for who does ballet since I was small

Don’t even do ballet and I could feel how painful this is. To the Audience, ballet is so beautiful and elegant.

I know how you felt. When I started pointe I had those old school Bolshoi teachers and she did not let us wear padding, but the next teacher did. I think you need to change your padding because it looks like that toepad is not covering your foot a lot and adding all the extra is contributing to blisters. My favorite were Danztech Skinnydip toepads. THey are stretchy, breathable, you can feel the floor, and the gels moves to your foot to fill the gaps in your shoes. My personal favrotie were eurotard ultra lite the clear ones
