Our Hatching Mentor Curtis with Webbed Foot Farms allowed us to tour his setup & discuss how he might have set things up differently on his 2 acres. We discussed shipping eggs to customers and what might help them and realistic expectations for them to have if ordering hatching eggs.

Come on you all you can do better than that putting thumbs up for this video. It's very informative and they tell us so much about their garden. Let's give it a heart or try then when i'm seeing at this time

What he says about waiting until you can get your flock with decent numbers makes a lot of sense. Especially if the goal is to breed and sell them. I want the option to be picky on what stays.

They have a nice setup. We can't have any open area for our chickens. The hawks would wipe us out. Nice pond !! Great video full of valuable information. We will need you guys to bring us our eggs 🥚. Are we considered local?? 😂😂😂. Two questions how much do you charge for eggs and where did you get your chicken plucker from?? Thanks for sharing. Enjoy your weekend

Please do a video on the first 3day no turn method. Do we candle on day three to look for egg development and issues then put them on the rotation or do we place them on auto rotation and wait til day 6 to candle them

This is great info! I read recently that there is decreased hatch rate if you set your eggs in the incubator within 72 hours of them being laid. The highest hatch rate occurs between 72 hours and 7 days after being laid. After that, hatchability decreases pretty sharply from days 7-14 and at 14 days there is little to no hatching that occurs. It sounds like what you stated in this video confirms that. I'm definitely going to let my eggs rest whether I get them from my coop or someone else's coop.
