I have to say, that sprite is ASGORE-geous as it gets.

Looking at how much bigger Asgore is compared to Frisk, it makes it that much more idiotically hilarious how a child with at best a toy knife was able to kill or defeat a fully grown, armoured, trained man with a proper trident weapon that would literally skewer you in a single poke. Not to say he has powerful fire magic that would incinerate you the moment it touches you.

I love this remix, it gives that feeling of melancholy you know Asgore feels. And that sprite art is straight badass.

The music is great, though I can tell, given that Asgore knows spells like Firaga. . . it's gonna be one hell of a time for Frisk, who presumably only has 20 HP and very crappy magic defense.

This is still my favorite ASGORE remix (and I've never played FFVI). It fits the emotion of the original, doesn't try to be too flashy with orchestration or guitars, but still keeps itself interesting with different soundfonts. Also, the section of ASGORE I love the most is 0:53 - 1:44, since it's the section that best conveys the feeling of trying to dodge ~3979125 fireballs with dramatic fire in the background, and you really nailed it with the octave jump + instrument change.
