Actually I had never heard that Southern California produced such a large quantity, of the useful Lithium metal,
The Mojave Desert and the Southern California lakes and rivers, have been known for vast volumes of Selenium metal, which has been pumped all up and down the California farm fields,
from Strawberries and Lettuce, to
Watermelons, California is a water poor
state, depending heavily on surrounding water sources from other Western States,
While California is a greedy water hog,
at least some of that water doesn't end up, in the Hollywood Elitist swimming pools, which brings up the question,
are the rich and famous swimming pools, rich in selenium?

lithium is flammable. lithium from a battery will ignite from the friction of the wind if you move it too fast. I wonder what the process is when mining it. the pools obviously play a huge role but they didn't really explain anything.
