Here's another golden oldie. Maybe It's Because I'm A Londoner was a song that became popular in the United Kingdom during the Second World War and was written by Hubert Gregg, a BBC, a pre-war broadcaster, while he was home on leave from the Second World War.

This is another one of the songs that my grandparents used to sing to me when I was very young as back in the early 1970's we would sing these old songs on a Saturday evening after dinner.

The song has been recorded by many artists including Max Bygraves, Davy Jones (The Monkees), Hubert Gregg and even Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur football clubs, and sung in a cockney (London east end) accent. I'm playing this in the key of F Major and move it into G Major. I hope you enjoy it.
