quite possibly - depends very much exact version of windows 7. I think the pre-beta version may be vulnerable.

To check using metasploit issue the command "check" instead of "exploit" and the console will report whether the target is vulnerable or not.

Very nice tutorial, fast and easy.
Only problem I have is that the exploit isn't working on my win7 pc and my winxp vm...

Sounds like the VM's you are running aren't vulnerable to the exploit :-)

Can you also get a graphic interface of certain places by the windows shell?
Let's say you type regedit in the windows shell; is that going to show the GUI ??

But It doesn't work for me :(
I cannot create meterpreter, it stops after this line, Attempting to trigge the vulnerability...and exits..

Is the target vulnerable to the exploit you are using? If you are using MS08_067 you can run the "check" command before you exploit - this will tell you if your target is vulnerable or not.
