Appreciations from Singapore. First heard of Stryper in the Straits Times newspaper in 1986 or 1987 when Mr Chris Ho, a local music critic, lambasted this album as a paradox of 'don't knock rock with the word of God when you play rock (or metal)' -- cannot bite the hand that feeds you mentality. Immediately, I went out to hunt for the cassette (yes cassette those days) and found it and was soon led to Soldiers under Command (also cassette) by a forward-thinking underground CR music vendor in a conservative local Christian store. Over the years, marveled at how the music was being played and took up electric guitar in the late forties, looking for Stryper tabs for years and finally seeing this on-line gem. Thanks Stephen Kim. Yes, the tabs and split screen very, very useful... saw to hell also just now.. more than a man should be next.. awesome and keep rocking bro... many many thanks !
