This is an adaptation of the story written by Sergey Lukyanenko, where the magical world divided into dark and light, is a metaphor for the consequences of human choices in both paradigms (egotistic and altruistic, respectively).
If you like to think about something like this, you should watch both films (Night Watch and Day Watch) or (even better) read the books. Not too familiar dichotomy of good and evil, because all the heroes are just different people, you empathize with one, then with the other and it’s hard to choose who is right (and whether anyone was right or not). Maybe not very good films, but it's one of my favourite stores.

What third part? I haven't seen it yet? This is about Night Watch and Day Watch...they are two of the best films I have seen! But I don't know what happened to the third one!
