Thank you thank you Juno for actually having a step-mom who actually cares about their step children. Most movies would have just had the disinterested/evil stepmother cliche but here’s one calling her stepdaughter “honey” “my kid” and immediately started setting up drs appointments for Juno with no hesitation. You don’t see that often.

Juno has always been a comfort movie when theres nothing else to watch. The story line is great. I always love that it doesnt glorify teen pregnancy but rather show you the decisions you make can have consequences and how you can choose to go about those consequences. Juno did a selfless thing giving the baby to Vanessa she did right by her son in the end. Paulie truely did love her even at the end of it all. Leah is a true friend she was there from start to finish. Even the parents who were rightfully dissapointed BUT accepted what was and helped her through it. No one left her side at all throughout the whole ordeal. Moral of the story was people make mistakes but you have to accept it and still love them no matter what.

She was the cute giving birth in her socks tho! I'm due with my second baby in less than 2 weeks, and this scene just reminded me to get a super cute pair of socks to wear while I'm pushing. One thing that urked me in this movie was Juno having hardly any pregnancy symptoms, such an easy pregnancy, and remaining cheerful and funny during the process. Not likely. She made it all look so easy and it's a HARD process.

The fact that Juno's dad and step-mom both supported her during her teen pregnancy deserves a mad amount of respect! Most parents in real life would kick their children out of the house, and they should be ashamed of themselves for doing so. Juno's parents are the best. In fact, Juno's step-mom was an even better mom than her biological mother was.
