What I didn't know until dropping $800 on the package was how heavy these tools are. At full 9' extension, the angled hedge trimmer is super front-heavy. Only way to balance the tool AND have a long reach is to add about 15 lbs of ballast to the back end. That means upgrading the sling to some sort of full chest rig. Now consider the frequent adjustments to the angle of the trim head, and it's ridiculously cumbersome to work with.

any chance you will get a light weight snow blower attachment? yeah i know its impossible to get something with that much power, but even that small amount of power in a good tool eco system will help us with really love drive ways who just need to clear 12 inch path and dont want to bust out a 200 pound snow blower. currently there is only one by ryobi

Is there still no official comment and reation on overheat problem with these units? Infortunatelly, it is not statistically single case, maybe 2 of 5 comes with this malfunction.

I'm hardcore Milwaukee, but is anyone else getting a little tired of buying a nice tool and less than a year later, something better and more convenient comes out (more than likely what you originally needed)? I mean, I love my Milwaukee string trimmer, but an edger and pole saw would have been nice to have in the first place. Oh well, I guess I just need to cancel my direct deposit paycheck and have it sent directly to Milwaukee.

Milwaukee's customer support service has been totally unresponsive to my warranty issue with my hedge trimmer attachment that's been sitting at an authorized repair dealership for 2 months now waiting for parts. 3 phone calls to 800SAWDUST with the promise to call me back and not one callback to date. I even wrote an email explaining my issue several weeks ago with no reply as of this comment.

The authorized repair dealership had to keep the power section for testing so I've not been able to keep up with my yard work. I'm now regreting my purchase choice.
