In the not-too-distant future, the United States has banned the Bible for its “offensiveness” and replaced it with a government-approved version. A small group of Christians are recruited to smuggle God’s Word to underground churches throughout the Midwest. With a ruthless federal agent in hot pursuit, the believers must choose between following the law or honoring and trusting God.

I’ve had so many dreams in the last few years of being on the run. Spreading the Gospel. Imploring everyone to get hard copies of Bibles. Whenever I’m about to get caught, I’m given the ability to run super fast or hide in plain sight. They seem so real.

This movie looks really well done. I am so happy to see the increase in quality of faith-based movies. Woohoo I had a friend who did this in Asia years ago. Such a calling and so scary. Also scary to think that this is not outside the bounds of possibility. God, keep our land glorious and free.

Some of the comments here are jarring and shows just how badly things are going. Ridiculous comments were also made about The sound of freedom, which was about saving children from being s3x trafficked. People are missing the point. Everyone will kneel to the most high and have to answer for their ways. What will be said? It was a joke or I didn't know? Ignorance is no excuse.

I like that they are just banning a version of the bible, not Christianity entirely. Also that they think that their English language bibles are the exact word of god and not rough approximations based on the decisions some random person made when translating the words from Greek or Hebrew.
