You're correct, you reclaim your gleamium from BP S2 is 900. That's bad news.
Good news is, we can farming 100 gleamium with 1 medal in medal shop. So i think it's still fine imo.

I just hope they fix rifts, no matter what, I can't get Agent Smith, not enough gems with some of the missions that force you to use certain characters/skins and they never opened up some of the difficulties of some rifts, so I'm just screwed on this one

Ps: they also mentioned they’ve been working on gameplay mechanics regarding the parry system. Whereas you can set a special move to come out as soon as you have a successful parry. (I’m pretty sure to make follow ups easier)

This update makes up for the fact we only get 2 fighters this update (was hoping for at least one more) this season looks to be better than the current and I’ll definitely be playing a lot more. Plus all the skins are amazing and we get 2 new stages

I think they wanna put more effort into the Rifts themselves, something that seemed daunting when you had to release them every week. I’m hoping that’s their mindset, because Rifts is still a great idea

They mentioned another into the verse stream later during the season to go over the next stage (Titans Tower), and when they mentioned it they also hinted at some kind of surprise as well? I think we're gonna see more of Beetlejuice around then, but it's possible we see another character reveal right before the end of Season 2.
As far as this stream went, I was beyond satisfied with the changes being made to the events, we not longer have to wait every day to get quests, the addition of the medal system is great and makes unlocking characters & skins easier, and rifts look like they got massive overhauls to make them much easier to complete events and change them up/make them more interesting.
The battlepass looks great, even with the loss of gleamium I'm pretty happy with what you get. If it isn't an error, they might be doing this because when you finish the battle pass you have a chance of unlocking 50 of one of the currencies including gleamium. It kinda sucks you can't buy the battlepass with character tokens so players who want Jack but don't want to buy the pass can get him, but otherwise I think their system is getting better, especially if we aren't getting rift event characters anymore. If they make the reward every time just a medal (or whatever the season's theme - adjacent is), that would make trying to complete the event not so fomo. I unlocked Agent Smith, but even playing every day I still can't get beyond tier 27 of the event, which really sucks.
Only question I have is about the Medal Shop and how some of the skins didn't have medals next to them that you could use to unlock them. I didn't know if that was an error, or if they are JUST gleamium skins that for some reason are in the medal shop. Really hope it's an error, because that Arya skin looked so good but I don't know if I can justify 1, 500 gleamium for it.

I will say I hope one of the General changes is an increase in dodge invulnerability, dodges do nothing while you're about to get hit with an attack and you drain a lot of meter by trying not to get hit. I don't like how read-heavy it is.


But generally I am so glad they took out the Rift character 😭🙏
