Why Is China Building a Kilometer-Long Spaceship?

China is working on building a spaceship that will be kilometers long. The spaceship would be placed in low Earth orbit and be a game-changer for China. It will help the country to complete long-duration missions and use space resources. In the last decade, China has become a significant contender in spaceflight. The China National Space Agency (CNSA) has completed many challenging missions.

They have sent astronauts in space, deployed three space stations, developed heavy launch vehicles such as Long March 5, and sent a robotic explorer to the far side of the Moon. In 2021, China became the first Asian country and second in the world to land on Mars. And now, the country plans to change the history of space exploration by building a huge spaceship that will be kilometers long.
