How to spot fake Armani Acqua Di Gio perfume

The smell of the fake perfume is very similar, but it does not persist for 10 minutes.

The perfume boxes are identical, you practically can't figure out which one is original or fake.

The original protective cardboard is silver, while the fake one is white.

The bottle of the original Acqua Di Gio perfume shows the text in front of a silver to black color, compared to the fake one which is a lighter silver color.

The bottom of the fake bottle has a label with a serial number, this serial number does not correspond to the serial number on the bottom of the box. The bottle of the original Armani Acqua Di Gio perfume has a different label on the bottom of the bottle, and the serial number is identical to the serial number on the bottom of the box.

The original cover is silver and weighs more (it is heavier), compared to the fake cover which has a golden color and weighs less (see video).

I have both real and fake. They both smell almost the same. The biggest difference is that the fake will evaporate quickly, and you won't be able to smell it an hour later. As where the real one will last on your skin for several hours.

So cardboard insert and barcode on side of box look like the 2 quickest indicators that background music track made me feel like I was watching a snuff film lol

The problem is not bottle itself, but the smell. I know that some people buys used bottles and then they refill them, in that way the bottle says nothing.

Best option to identify them is go and try different fragances in a Store and remember that smell. And also if you travel a lot, go and try them at the duty free and compare prices. For example if the dutyfree offers one parfum at 50USD and then you find it in 25USD then you must give a second though about purchasing it

Description has me confused it says the original box is heavier than the fake, but in video the box you weighed that was heavier is on the fake side....box with bottle on fake side is 307 minus the bottle at 283=24 for wight of box....box with bottle on real side is 276 minus the bottle at 254=22 for weight of box of real side ..

Recién acabo de comprarlo en Sams Club, todo es idéntico y legítimo como el original, excepto que en la caja ya no viene la leyenda Pour Homme, ni tampoco en la parte inferior de la botella, a otros les pasa lo mismo, será una nueva presentación del perfume?

Hi, I am just curious why mine is built exactly like the real one, but on the packaging it does not say "pour homme" or "natural spray". It only says "EAU DE TOILETTE" and under "VAPORISATEUR SPRAY" also the PAP is on back side and not under the box and lastly the sticker on bottom of my bottle are different from both your fake & real examples... Mind you my bottle and box is built EXACTLY like your real one along with the box insert.. Do you know why??

I find it interesting that both the real and the fake one has the exact same bar code number. Can you explain why is this?
