Welcome to the Jinjer Army! I hope you continue with this amazing band! Jinjer truly doesn't have a bad song but I would recommend so in concert stuff next, Perennial (live at Wacken 2019 or Pit of Consciousness (live in Kiev) as good next stops! Great Reaction!

I have seen her live and my jaw never left the floor. Her speaking voice is so high pitched and it's so cute watching her speak since English isn't not her first language.

As for how this works, everyone is capable of making these noises. She is using her false folds just like a male artist would. I recommend watching The Charismatic Voices video where they put a camera down Will Ramos's throat and she explains the anatomy of what works and how.

Definetly give Jinjer another chance, this one is a very black and white example of her voices, you will probably enjoy other songs where she is more flowing with her range.

Teacher Teacher is a good example and Perinneal live at Waken.

Welcome to Jinjer. It's all Tatiana. To appreciate how good this band is react to their live performances. I recommend "Who is Gonna be the One" (Live, Napalm Records) or "Perennial" live at Wacken follow up reaction. While Tatiana is a vocal goddess, don't overlook how good the band's musicianship is.

Tatiana (Jinjer) is currently the gold standard when it comes to female growlers/extreme vocals. However she is not the deepest/highest. There are other women out there who can go to the ultra extremes. But what she can do is switch from extreme to clean on a dime better than all the others. Not to mention her clean vocals are usually a much higher quality with better technique/tone. And what sets Jinjer apart is the bands musicality. Roman (guitar), Eugene (Bass), Vlad (Drums) are some of the tightest best skilled players in the scene atm. As you dive in to their catalogue you will find a plethora of great songs. Some suggestions. "Vortex", "Perrenial" (Live @ Wacken), "Teacher Teacher", " Sit, Stay, Roll Over". And their heaviest song " Pit of Consciousness" (Live @ Kiev). Enjoy. =)

yup I have seen them live too and it is definitely her voice 100%, Pisces is one of their slower more melodic songs, there are much heavier ones out there that will be more your bag. my favourite to date is Pit of Conciousness but its only just. hope you carry on checking them out and enjoy the ride because pretty much everything they do is gold.

Pisces is typically the 'gateway' drug to Jinjer for those that are turned off by growling vocals...Obviously this is not the case for you.
These are two of my favorite heavier Jinjer songs.
Jinjer is known for their genre hopping proggy groove metal with a sprinkle of jazz influence; each song is like a box of chocolates...

Pisces is one of their most mellow songs. They definitely have plenty more that will be right up your alley.

Pisces is good for the shock value and as an introduction for those who aren't already metalheads.

Generally people will graduate from this song to either their performance of "Perineal" Live at Waken or the official video for "Teacher Teacher". They are both killer and both are "must see" videos.

Welcome to Jinjer. This band is incredible! This is one of their very few mellow songs, so if you like heavier, they've got a lot of that. But also, pretty much anything goes with them. They infuse different genres of metal, as well as different genres of music such as jazz and reggae, into their music. So, never expect the next song you listen to to sound like the last. Plus, this is just the tip of the iceberg as far as Tatiana's vocal ability and range, and the entire band is ultra talented at every position. They don't have a bad song to their name. Pit of Consciousness Live in Kiev would be a great song to check out next.

Pisces is the gateway song since it is so atypical for most. Normally, the softer sound is needed as many are turned off by harsh vocals. While I love Spirtbox, Jinjer is more progressive & generally less radio friendly. And imo Tatiana's growls reach deeper. They blend grooves & genres effortlessly, w/most songs composed in a way that there are often natural "palette cleaners" in between sections. For heavier songs check out "I speak Astronomy", "Homeback", and "Sit, Stay, Rollover". Also "Perennial" live at Wacken shows what they can do live.

That is 100% her voice! There is a little vocal layering in places, but still all her. She is amazing! You really need to check out more! Teacher, Teacher is my fav if you're looking for suggestion, but they don't have a bad song.

She's Like Heaven and Hell light and dark a demon and a goddess this is definitely their most pop sounding song that's why it has like 100 million views

It is her voice, I think one of the most effective explanations to what is going on is from Fairy Voicemother in her reaction to this song, she is Vocal Coach but metal is not her thing, however, not only can she explain it she does a demonstration of it (so well in fact that people commented that she should sing metal). She even teaches another singer how to do it in her reaction video to Electric Callboy Hypa Hypa, in a matter of minutes. Anyone can learn to do it, it is easier for trained singers (everything that comes from proper voice training applies), it is easier with instruction, but it is not without risk (and many singers are not willing to take that risk).
