The Trench GTX jacket was developed with a specific purpose in mind: to create an urban jacket with all the high-end touring features one would need if they chose to venture outside of the city walls. The laminated GORE-TEX® outer shell is extremely breathable and, as you would expect, 100% waterproof. Being a laminated outer shell, the water pick-up is virtually non-existent, so the jacket stays dry and lightweight all the time. Unparalleled, on-demand airflow is provided by our patented VCS|aquadefence ventilation system, conveniently positioned at the chest, yet nicely integrated into the design. I have the Rev'it Horizon 2, those front vents are brilliant, even with the thermal liner in place.

REV'IT offer the BEST bang-for-buck bar none! The only disappointing missing feature is the small clip on the collar to hold back the collar flap when riding with the top of the jacket open. I have this on my Sand 1 jacket but not on my Neptune. And for some reason they have decided you just don't need it, so when it's warmer and you've opened the vents on the chest.... when you open the collar, it'll flap around in the wind!

But is it safe enough during a slide? Its says 400d nylon. I want to buy it, but I'm concerned about it when you are in a slide. I hope it's not tearing apart.

Good jacket and it has a Gore Tex membrane. The only one I trust. My 2001 Rukka has never leaked.
