The next chapter of the HP Latex industrial revolution, the HP Latex 3500 Printer is designed for high-volume, dedicated application production, delivering new levels of productivity and operational efficiency for sign and display print providers. With heavy-duty roll handling up to 300 kg (660 lbs), and dual-roll up to 2 x 200 kg (440 lbs), and 10 liter ink cartridges, the new printer delivers more unattended operation to match quick turnaround requests, while maintaining the high-quality standards of third-generation HP Latex inks. The printer also features dual-roll split spindles, an in-line slitter and built-in LED proofing lights, reducing production bottlenecks in finishing and proofing workflows. The HP Latex 3500 Printer can be integrated on an MIS system or the RIP via JDF, as well as remotely monitored by the HP Latex Mobile App for smartphones and tablets.

According to Andy Wilson with PressOn, the new printer is enabling their print production team to “push the boundaries even further,” to meet client demands for tight turnarounds, high quality and longer runs

With regards to auto feeding, does the operator need to check every sheet of corflute for bent up corner etc, prior to the printer 'taking' it to make sure no head crashes occur or does the printer somehow do it?
