POM - BEAR - Naked

Most people are by now pretty used to the concept of a skippable video. But have you ever seen a Skip button and expected, well, an actual Skip?

In this made-for-YouTube video, our Pom-Bear certainly didn’t expect to. Created to accompany Pom-Bear’s newest campaign, in less than 5 seconds we go from Pom-Bear proudly extolling his free-from credentials (no gluten, artificial colours or flavours) to a crashing realization of his naked state, on which he quickly urges us to skip away to hide his shame. To his dismay, he encounters a KP Skip instead, not the ‘skip’ he was anticipating.

It’s a clever use of a familiar digital format, subverting expectations of skippable videos by asking viewers to skip as soon as possible, a request which also hammers home memorably the central message of our Pom-Bear campaign, ‘the Bare Bear Snack’. Plus it’s a cheeky mash-up of the KP portfolio.
